Risk Assessment

Myself and my group are going to 'River Road' park in Brentwood to film the dark side of our Thriller. We know that a park in itself has a lot of risks that need to be assessed before we start filming. For example,

The park itself:

  • Mud- Risk: Medium - We may slip over and fall, induring ourselves.
  • The security of the aparators - Risk: Low - We have to make sure that the aparators are safe to use in order to use them in our film.
  • Equipment- Risk: Low - We have to ensure that the equipment stays dry and safe.

The river:
  • Slope going down to the river- Risk: High - We know that there are twigs and branches plus stones. Also, depending on the weather, the slope may be slippery. We know that we have to find a route down the slope in order to get to the river.
  • The river- Risk: High - In the river we have to ensure that we wear wellies in order to have a safe grip and we have to ensure that none of the equipment gets wet and we have to make sure we do not slip over.
  • Tree's around the river- Risk: Medium - We have to make sure that we make our way around the branches in order to keep safe.
