On the 16th of March 2011, Myself and my group went to 'River Road' park to film the dark side to our thriller. We followed our risk assesment so that none of us were harmed and it worked. The first thing we did was go to my house and start on Amy's make-up. We put bruises on her arms and legs using purple, navy and yellow face paint/ make-up. We also used white face paint and powder on her face to make her look pale and ill, this worked really well as she doesn't look like a normal child.
The first shot we took was of Amy walking into the park and climbing on to the roundabout. We then took numerous shots of her spinning on the roundabout with her head back looking at the sky and a few shots of her looking at the camera. By using numerous shots, when it comes to editing we can decide what one we like the best as they all look different. We also filmed a point-of-view shot of amy holding the camera looking up at the sky and at the park. This effect worked really well as it fits in with the connotations of her being confused.
The next shots we took were of her looking at a mother and her little girl - this action was planned on the spot as we didn't expect anyone else to be there, we asked the mother for permission for us to film her and her daughter and she agreed. We are not sure if we are going to use this shot but it is always good to have extra clips that could be used.
We also took shots of her climbing up the steps to the slide. We filmed from underneath the steps, from the side and from the top of the slide and then of her coming down and sitting at the bottom of the slide.

We also filmed Amy skipping into the the woods where the river is located. We filmed a long shot, a mid shot and a close up of her feet. We also done this shot from the back. We got a shot of her feet coming into the woods and then a shot of her climbing through a tree. To do this shot we had to go through the river and take a low angle shot.
Other shots taken of Amy were shots of her breaking twigs with her feet as she walks along, a low angle shot of her climbing down to the river, a handheld shot of her through the trees and fence and shots of her on the rocking aparator using close ups of her face and legs with long shots of her rocking. Our last shot we took was of her on the main aparator in the park, the boat in the middle, we took a shot from over her shoulder and a mid-shot.
