Preliminary Production

When filming the Preliminary we found it to be very successful, however there were some obstacles faced. For example some takes did not turn out to be as we had hoped  for example the hand opening the door was too slow, therefore we had to re-take for a perfect take this ensured that when put together and edited we could create the shot we had hoped for. Another problem we faced that we realised after filming is that we left un-necessary objects in shot view for example the tripod in the walking through the door shot. This could have been avoided and now will be noted in future filming. When filming our Preliminary we learnt how to use both camera and tripod fairly well considering it was our first experience when filming. Our group learned fairly quickly how to adjust the camera and tripod appropriately to enhance camera angles. These skills can be used and incorporated into making our Thriller to create a certain effect to capture the audience.
