Preliminary Task

For our preliminary task we were asked to film a short clip. This clip must include, match on action which is when you film two shots that look like they're happening at the same time. For example, someone walking down the stairs; we would film a low angle shot of them walking down the stairs and then a framed shot through the railings of their feet coming down the stairs. It must also include a shot reverse shot which is for example, a conversation between two people. We would film one person then cut to the other and then back again to the first person. This may also include a reaction shot, mostly seen on the protagonist of the clip. It must also include the 180 degree rule which means filming something like a conversation from one side (180 degree's) you cannot film past the 180 degree line otherwise the shots will be confused as one person will go from one side of the screen to another.
