Through previous research on The British Board of Film Classification we have decided to classify our thriller as a 15 for various reasons. The restriction of our film certificate means that people below the age of our boundary would not be advised to watch our film because of it's content. The film contains horror involving a child which straight away categorises the film as a 15. Furthermore, it also contains elements of violence and imitable behaviour which could be quite traumatic for people under this age limit. Also, as our influential film 'The Orphan' is classified a 15, this has also inspired us to follow this guidline as our film has so much in common with the orphan already. We feel the certificate we have given is very appropriate for the content of our film.
