On the 24th of January, 4 year 13 a level students came into our class and gave us some tips to help us with writing our blog, shooting our film and getting the best grades. There main points were to;
Keep on top of the work. We cannot leave it all untill the last minute because the quality of the work will fall and if rushed, it will be too much to do in such a short space of time.
We also need to make sure we all work well within our group. Groups of 2 don't always work very well together as the workload is too heavy and we should ensure all of the work is divided up equally within all of the members in our group.
Aswell as making sure all of the required blog posts are done, we should also add some of our own which will gain us marks for originality. We should never assume our blog is finished, something can always be added to get the best grades.
We will aim to film our thriller and preliminary way before the deadline is due so if anything needs to be shot again, we will have plenty of time to do so.
Also, we have already analysed other thrillers from previous years to get ideas and compare the standard but make sure we keep ours unique and diverse.
We will make sure plenty of planning is done before filming, including a detailed storyboard, brainstorm, location research and assure our equipment is working correctly and charged before we carry out the task.
Choose appropriate actors for the roles, make props and costumes realistic.
In our group we will try to stick to all of these points to make sure we get the most marks we can and to produce a good quality opening to our thriller.
